Corn Oil has long been a favorite with consumers because of its pleasant,
nutty flavor. It is used extensively in the food industry for salad
dressings, mayonnaise, sauces, snacks, baking mixes, whipped toppings
and crumb coatings for meat, fish and poultry.
Corn Oil also boasts a high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids (up
to 85%) and is a source of phosphorous and fat-soluble vitamins, including
vitamin E, an anti-oxidant that helps to protect the oil from becoming
rancid. It is high in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids.
